Britain dismisses Israel’s claim that Iranian missiles are capable of reaching London

There is "no specific assessment that the Iranians are targeting the UK,” Britain’s Housing Secretary Steve Reed told the BBC.

Reed’s remark comes in the wake of an Iranian ballistic missile strike against the Diego Garcia airbase, a joint US-UK military installation located nearly 4,000 kilometers away from Iran.

The attack prompted Israel to allege that Iran has missiles capable of striking European capitals, in what seems to be a bid to draw the European powers into the US-Israeli war.
