US debt gone parabolic

I check the USD Debt clock every morning. The last few weeks it's been accelerating. The Debt was expected to hit $40 Trillion by the end of 2026. A few weeks ago I reckoned it would hit $40 Trillion by the end of September

Yesterday the Debt was at $39,853,000,000,000

Today the Debt is at $39,907,000,000,000

Acceleration seems to be increasing. At the current pace it will be " $40 TRILLION " NEXT WEEK !

Trump & the USA Gov keep screaming how great the US Economy is yet the rate of DEBT Spending is even higher than it was during WWII. They have the " Spending " pedal down to the Metal.

The Financial IMPLOSION/EXPLOSION is going to be EPIC !

;)

The number just compounding faster, with higher oil prices, due to supply disruptions for over 6 months. It is no longer trusted since Russian money got stolen. The holding of usd reserves are being abandoned and buying of us treasuries no longer be needed.Jp dumping had started , there is no other way. Inflate and die.

I believe that the numbers are rubbish, but they are the official published numbers, for what their worth ( zero credibility )

YEN intervention was just a " Temporary " band aid before it crashes

They NEVER go " quietly into the night ", so they will INFLATE !

That will crush the average citizen, just as it did in :- Weimar Germany, Zimbabwe, etc

:(

USA Debt clock is at $39,920,000,000,000 this morning. It might just hit $40,000,000,000,000 before next Monday morning. ( I'd put money on Trump spending $80,000,000,000 in a WEEK ! )

Trump/USA Gov blew my guess of $40 Trillion Debt by Monday morning out of the water with 4 days to spare ;)

The USA Debt Clock sits at $40,049,000,000,000 this Thursday morning.

Drunken Sailor spending has nothing on these guys :ROFLMAO:

This is just another sign of an Empire/Economy swirling the Toilet Bowl of Bankruptcy/Insolvency o_O

There is nothing particularly revolutionary about lending money at egregious rates to people who don’t have any. But when you start extending tiny amounts of credit so consumers can finance increasingly trivial purchases, whether that’s a burrito, groceries, takeout or other everyday expenses, you aren’t witnessing some great innovation in financial technology. You’re witnessing the last gasp of liquidity breath from a consumer in deep financial stress.

Credit makes sense when it bridges the timing between income and a major productive purchase. Mortgages allow people to buy homes. Business loans finance investment. Auto loans can help people purchase transportation they need to work. But when consumers increasingly need financing for a single solitary order of Large Fries from McDonald’s and other minute daily expenses, the economic signal is completely different.

If someone needs four payments to buy a French fry, the problem isn’t the absence of a sufficiently innovative payment app. The problem is that they’re fucking broke.

"Doom Loop" Engaged: US Debt Hits $40 Trillion As Treasury Enters The Endgame

It took the US 200 years to reach its first $1 trillion in debt. It took 95 days to add its last.

After several weeks of build up, today the Treasury announced that total public debt surpassed $40 trillion for the first time, after jumping by over $60 billion in one day, and has now surged by $1 trillion in just over three months, and by a third of the total in less than five years, as US lawmakers continue to ignore calls to contend with historically wide fiscal deficits.

Treasury stunned the market when it said, just two weeks after the latest Refunding Announcement where it should have made this change, that it was ramping up the support for longer-dated securities by "increasing, by at least double, the size of liquidity support buyback operations for longer-dated nominal coupon securities (the 10-year to 20-year sector and the 20-year to 30-year sector)."

As buyers demand higher yields, that in turn drives up the Treasury’s borrowing needs. With two months left to go in the fiscal year, the government’s tally for interest costs so far for 2026 is $1.37 trillion - a 20% increase on the same period a year before. That in turn adds to the debt, potentially fueling further investor calls for higher rates, in a pattern known as a “doom loop.”

The CRASH will be EPIC !
